This semester-long case study investigated an instructor’s design and incorporation of TBLT into an intermediate-level Spanish FL classroom. Via qualitative examination of the instructor’s design and implementation of classroom tasks, along with student training, we highlight specific challenges and opportunities associated with incorporating TBLT into a highly structured, multi-section department.
